Dr. Rambod Salouti, M.D.
Biography
Dr. Rambod Salouti was born in Isfahan in 1975. He graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from Isfahan Medical Science University. He performed his radiology residency at Iran University of Medical Science. then completed residency training in 2007 and began his career as a radiologist and gained experience in diagnostic imaging with different modalities including Sonography, MRI, CT Scan and etc. In 2010.
he accepted for Interventional Radiology fellowship in Tehran University of Medical Science, and joined Neurointervention Specialty Group in Imam Khomeini Hospital Research Center in 2011.
There, he collaborated for endovascular closed interventions by balloon- and stent-assisted coil embolization of cerebral aneurysms.
Embolization of benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck is another area of expertise of Dr. Salouti He is experienced in the treatment of benign liver tumors including hemangioma and malignant liver tumors such as hepatoma and metastasis with angioembolization.
Ultrasound- and CT-guided microwave and radiofrequency ablation for the treatment of malignant lung tumors and the treatment of benign bone tumors (Osteoid Osteoma) using CT-Fluoroscopy guided radiofrequency are in other areas of interest for Dr. Salouti
Certifications and Accomplishments
Dr. Rambod Salouti holds a Training Certification for Ablation of Benign Thyroid Nodules from University of Seoul, South Korea. He is experienced in performing ultrasound-guided microwave and radiofrequency ablation of thyroid nodules, evacuation and alcohol ablation of thyroid cysts and metastasis in cervical lymph nodes.
Dr. Rambod Salouti also holds a Certificate of Cerebral Aneurysm Stent-Assisted Coiling from Rothschild, Paris and a Certificate of Endovascular Embolization of Cerebral Arteriovenous Malformations (AVM) with ONYX and PHIL from Le Monge, France.
He was appointed as the head of Interventional Radiology Committee of Iranian Radiology Congress from 2014 to 2017 and was named Top Interventionist of the Year by Iranian Radiology Congress in 2017.
